The VTC is a not for profit registered charity that has a property in a natural bush setting nestled in the Darling Ranges on approximately 42 acres near Jarrahdale in Western Australia. The state forest is on the eastern border and Medulla Brook runs through the property. The VTC is approximately 45 minutes drive from the Perth CBD, and is located close to the South Western Highway.

The VTC activities’ are overseen by a voluntary board of directors many of whom have current or former Defence Force ties. The VTC has no political or religious affiliation and exists solely to advance the interests of former or current Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel. The VTC maintains close links with the Returned Services League (RSL) and other veterans organisations.

SHORT-TERM ACCOMMODATION

The VTC offers short term accommodation to any former ADF member or Allied veteran who needs some time at Jarrahdale. In some cases accommodation can be provided for family units.

EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE

The VTC is well supported by many companies and business people in Western Australia, and we have excellent connections to assist you in obtaining further training and employment.

COUNSELLING SERVICES

The VTC can assist with guidance as to free counselling services in relation to anxiety and depression, stress or anger, trauma, addiction, relationship challenges, grief and loss, and dealing with change.
